I heard that round 2 of Covid19 is doing Japan quite a bit more damage than the first time or possibly the over-worked based ecomony is finally taking more percautions.
EMS is quite amazing but, quite costly. Kind of odd they don't really have a middle-speed mail post for international. Japan Post rarely ships overseas. EMS or SAL. You never know with SAL though, 3 weeks or possibly 6 months. A mistake you don't make twice.
