yeah figured it could also be a caliper. bah. just my luck. the car still overall drives just fine though. but i guess ill gingerly drive it over next week for service. probably ill need a whole new caliper, pad, maybe rotor. damn. this happened to me two years ago as well. but that time i was braking too hard and then the caliper did something and broke along with the rotor.

the calipers i have are the stock subaru calipers.
the brake pads i have are stop tech brake pads.
the rotors i have on the rear are Hawk slotted and drilled rotors. (these are horrible, im never buying these again). My front rotors are Stop tech drilled rotors as well as stop tech pads.

Should i just stick with the stop tech drilled rotors and stop tech pads then if i need to replace that as well?
