Thanks Mike, that makes sense. Yeah, we kinda decided on about 55psi (and above 4000 RPM) from the AIM, that way it only discharges when I'm at speed on track, and not cruising around or at idle, . This way you don't have to worry about forgetting to toggle switch "off" before even coming off track. We'll try this and see if it keeps the EPC valve happy, and if not, we can use the optional Canton pressure switch at 55/60psi.

I spoke with them about my plan, and they said it should be fine, even though the discharge/refill pressure is the same value (55psi), and there isn't a "dead" spot of 5psi in between like their switch.

I also plan to supplement hot summer ambient temps with a 10W50 motor oil weight.....for me the Accusump is less about pressure and more about maintaining oil flow to the mains. Numerically speaking I guess my pressures look good, but who know exactly what is going on at the mains in those situations. The extra oil can't hurt, and I run the Crawford AOS that recirculates captured oil, so no worries about catch-can overfilling. My guess is the amount of oil discharged by the accusump won't be a whole lot anyway.
