I am not a fan of anything. I just bought an FR-S since the price was better at Toyota dealer than Subaru dealer when I checked. I replaced almost everything that made that slight difference between BRZ and FR-S at the time anyway.
I think the valve recall made the biggest difference when more Toyota dealers failed servicing the engine than Subaru.
