Okay. The device itself runs on 12 volts DC. Car power. It can be run on a 110 volt AC to 12 volt DC adapter. So, it can be used that way in the house.

Do you realize that to install this you have to drop the headliner, punch a bunch of holes in it, and then run the optical fibers from the headliner to the place where the light source is located?

The device draws 16 watts of power.
P=IV
16 = I x 12
I ~ 1.4 amps
This isn't much current draw in a car.
You could use almost any fuse in the panel to run this.
One of the smaller fuses would be best, probably no more than 10 or 15 amps.


To each his own, but I don't think I'd mess up a perfectly good headliner that way.
