My brother (a millwright) has bought almost all of tools exclusively from Canadian Tire. Think most of them are the Maximum line, some are DeWalt, depending on what was on sale the day he went. Zero complaints out of him from those two lines. Amazing how far CT has come with their in house brand.

Most of my tools, personal and work use, are also MasterCraft. For the amount of use they get, mid tier is good enough for me, and it's likely that I won't need to replace them any time soon.
