Just pop off the quick connect nozzle tip and put the foam cannon on. Not much else to it. I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075R2LTFR...NsaWNrPXRydWU=
I put about 1-2" of soap in it and fill the rest with water.
They usually require a certain minimum pressure but I've never heard of too much pressure.
They are usually brass fittings and 3100 is not that crazy. Maybe putting the cannon onto a high psi unit is over kill but all you'd have to do is turn down the throttle.
I run that foam cannon on an Ryobi electric 1600 psi unit bought just for foaming the car and it works fine so dropping your throttle some would work. Now I'm wondering
if I hook up my 4200 psi unit to it, what would happen. Maybe the best foam ever? Can there be too much foam!!
