Anyways, i tried searching but to my surprise, have not found the topic discussed yet:

Is there an option to relocate the factory steering wheel buttons on the +17 BRZ/86's to a panel or an adapter plate to the column to keep the functionality of the cluster menus & displays?

The option to run an a lighter aftermarket steering wheel while still retaining access to the cluster menus is really appealing and would like to hear peoples thoughts on this.

Are you just looking to go lighter?

The airbag and metal piece gutted on the stock wheel comes out to exactly the same weight as an aftermarket wheel with adapter. Easier to sneak through inspection and you get to keep all the buttons. Trust me I know
