I don't really care if the performance specs are similar - I just want a "fresh" design if that makes sense. A new dash, interior, etc - but a spiritual evolution of the current car. Some of the magic has worn just because the car has been around for a while now.
That being said if my current car dies I'd get an 86 almost immediately - I just have the option to wait now.

At the very least you should test drive the updated 2017+ BRZ/86 - such a pure driving experience
