I find it laughable that anyone says a full size spare was one of their main motivating factors for buying. I think no matter what was deleted people would be up in arms. Manufacturers do it all the time. Its just this time it has been done on an enthusiast car, and enthusiasts make the most noise on the internet when this stuff happens. I've informed my customers and not one of them reacted the way some of you have.
By all means, cancel your order. It'll help those people who genuinely love this car get theirs earlier.

It's not that a big of a deal I guess, I'm obviously less informed then yourself as this is my first new car purchase and didn't realize it was common place within the industry.
It was more the principal I was commenting on as Toyota Aus know they have people exactly where they want them and that is because people do love this car and wont cancel even if they start removing features. Its all about the $ in the end, I get that and if that allows them to continue to make these kind of cars affordable in the future then I'm all for it.
