I would check the alignment. There is a few mm of slop in the holes for the manifold, that could cause issues. I measured the distance between the first valley and the outer edge of the SC pulley with a micrometer and then did the same on the crank pulley. Added shims to make them equivalent and then laid a straight edge across both pulley faces and used that to determine where to have the manifold before bolting it down.
