I'm currently at 118,000 km.

I have put around $10,000 into the car and I'm afraid that I'm setting myself up of failure with future upgrades.

Mind you a lot of the upgrades can be parted out.

Do you know owners who have gotten up to 200,000 km's and been ok? Just a bit nervous about all this.

What should I do in terms of maintenance and body to make sure it has a long life?

There are loads of us with over 200,000. Maintain it well and don't go nuts with the power mods and there is no reason at all to worry about mileage. Don't worry about mileage. It isn't how far the the car has gone so much as how it was taken care of and driven. There are plenty of 10,000 mile cars I wouldn't touch if you paid me and many over 200.000 that I would buy in a heart beat.
