The plug change interval on this car is 100,000km which is pretty high. They are called out to be replaced for a reason so suggesting that it shouldn't be done because they take actual effort to change is pretty dumb IMO.

How much are coil packs for the BRZ? On my previous car (VW GLI), I'd just replace the coil packs when doing spark plug changes anyways. Coil packs were kind of notorious for failing early with the VW Audi 2.0L TSI. Maybe not necessary to do both at once but didn't mind paying an extra $100 CAD to not have to worry about coil packs for the next 90k km... And that was on an inline-4.
With the BRZ, I'm probably going to pay someone to do the spark plugs. If they're going to lift the engine, I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to just do the coil packs at the same time.
