Sorry for the extremely late update.... many things happened that put my car on hold. But I do have a solid update. Tuner and a few shops said the same things and were 100% it was not the tune. Instead pointed it towards gears/actuators need to be replaced according to my symptoms. Like stated before quote was around 2k to only fix. So for a little more then 2k I picked up a 2016 motor with 27.5k miles along with a new transmission for very cheap (old motor had 89k miles). Had my tuner install the motor and trans. He retuned it on 91 so that way he can have a better foundation to work with. And what do you know the car is 100% acting the same. The kicker here too and an important factor is that the motor I picked and put in was already previously tuned by my tuner on 91... so the motor was running fine according to my tuner and the seller before purchasing the motor. But I will say the car feels much quicker and stronger when doing pulls. But same symptoms exactly are happening. Nothing had changed except for the car feeling quicker even just on 91. Mpg starts dropping at idle, throttle hesitation is strong under 4k, when to much gas is given after shifting to next gear the car hiccups and same thing happens when I give it quick throttle at low rpms. I highly doubt I picked up another motor that had the exact same issue as mine and is also running 100% the same. Although im bothered the issue isnt fixed I defeinty feel like this motor feel quite a bit more powerful and happy about that. So I'm a little lost at this point. Motor was tuned for 91 previously before I purchased it by the same tuner, then when dropped in my car, the car acts 100% the same with exception of feeling stronger under wot.
