Gas pedal vibration? Need help/solution
There is excessive acceleration pedal vibration above speeds of 35km/h and it also makes very noticable humming rythmic sound at 93km/h. It usually occurs during cruising, not when heavy accelerating. The vibration is still present when shifted at neutral while cruising. Steering wheel does not vibrate or shake.
It happened after installing new tires. The shop already rebalanced the wheels two times and problem still occuring. (I highly suspect the front two tires since it happened after installing those. Rears were installed first
and had no problems)
Wheel bearings and spacers are also checked with no issue/play. However the front right and rear right wheel is slightly bent (the shop said machine couldn't detect it, they only notice when spinning wheel while car is lifted)
But if the wheels were already "bent", I didn't feel this problem with my old tires?
I am just trying to find a solution as it has been pretty bothersome
I was thinking getting the front wheels road force balanced? But that's $100 going to waste if it doesn't fix issue.
Tires are BFG comp2 all seasons 225/40/18
Car has 97k km mileage, 2014 FRS
Thank you for reading. Any help would be appreciated
