That's not to say that they couldn't make a car to fill the RX-7/RX-8 void with a turbo 4, it just shouldn't be able to be called an RX car. They couldn't even use the Cosmo nameplate as that has always been rotary powered. The only thing I can think of is using the current naming scheme for the cars and calling it an MX-7. You have the M of the MX-5/Miata and the "X-7" of the RX-7 to go by as well. The only issue would be an actual name like the Miata has/had.

If they do anything (and they don't really need to) they might as well produce the Kabura and call it the MX-3.
