UPDATE!!

-After consideration of a lot of factors, we have decided to go with a modified steel stamped pan. The pan will be steel, designed to clear the 86 cross member using our K Series mount kit.

-The pan will come with an aluminum baffle that bolts in. The baffle is designed to shield the oil pickup from sloshing under hard braking and acceleration.

-The pan will require that you switch the oil pump to the RSX Type S oil pump. This is for a couple of reasons. 1-The stock K24 oil pump with balance shaft is a huge piece that makes fitting a pan around it while still clearing the cross member almost impossible. 2-The RSX oil pump allows up to 8500 RPM before it has any cavitation issues. There are hundreds of write ups and videos out there about changing the oil pump to the Type S, it requires the pump, a different lower chain, a couple bolts, and a windage tray.

We have the final design of the pan on our test car along with the baffle. Clears with no issues using our mounts! They will be ready to sell within 2 weeks we are hoping. I will have a Pre-Sale available on swapyour86.com soon.
