I'm gonna go against the grain here and say I was convinced by my parents to trade in my old car when I got my FRS and it was a mistake looking back on it. Yes you have to insure and maintain and park 2 cars, but there is merit in having that second car to drive on nasty days, or drive friends around, or park in sketchy locations, or to use as a backup if one is broken. Not necessarily saying keep the car, but there is a valid trade-off OP should consider.

Then again, the car I traded in was a Saab 9-3 so might be a different story from keeping a Camry around.
i dunno, something about his demeanor-- he seems to be trying. the other brain surgeons that come through here just come off like they're looking for a pat on the back for a decision they've already made or a handout.

saab's are spectacular winter cars. but they're terrible summer cars.
