I just passed the one year (1/21/2019) and 23,972 miles since I had the infamous valve recall work done. That was quick!

I did more highway miles in that year than is normal for me, so the engine was working at as much full speed ahead as it can short of doing track work.

During the year, no issues related to the repair as far as I can tell. My MPG average was above my normal average at 34.60 MPG over 68 fillups during the year. The previous (pre-recall) had been 33.27MPG over 61 fillups.

At at total of 159,934 miles the engine seems to still be going strong, no issues to speak of (as I bang my head on my wooden desk just in case).

I guess I can say I'm in the lucky majority that had the work done correctly at this point.
