This sounds a lot like a judge and jury that are life long friends with the accused.
Ask to be cc'd on that. or Forward the contact information to you. Opinion of "Senior tech" at the shop thats paid by the dealership so not worth squat. Service Rep is not an engineer or tech in any way.

Dealerships are dirt humans.
