I am auto trans btw.
Stock MT is 1second faster 0-60 vs auto, 90% because MT can launch at much higher RPM. But both taking off from idle at same rpm MT is only .1sec faster.
But once you are FI and become traction limited that launching benefit becomes less and less beneficial unless your on slicks on a prept track. Otherwise you just sit in place spinning.

I do plan on building my trans, valve body, clutch packs, and torque converter, i could then launch at 3k rpm but again traction is already a problem.
I do think about replacing the header this year. It's closer to Japan, Maybe TOMEI 4-2-1. I believe it will make a difference. So good with no cats.

Rear wheel drive.. Traction is inevitable. I heard people say 350P Is the max power that the auto trans can withstand. The stock manual trans is lower then AT. So the gearbox upgrade is a certainty. My AT gearbox smells like BBQ when it's speeding up at high RPM. Trans really need to upgrade.

Vehicle weight 1.2 tons. Over 270HP(I guess). Only wider tires to enhancing grip and control. CUP2 or RE11 tires. I will change MichelinPS4 in winter. But I feel it doesn't grip as much as the TOYO I used before.

May I ask if you are teaching ECU by yourself? I need to go to a professional store for this. It costs about $1,000 per visit...
