I have full headerback with no cats and its not that loud even cold starts. Not much different then stock. Can tune out the loud cold starts. Just depends on what components you choose and the tune.

I am auto trans btw.
Stock MT is 1second faster 0-60 vs auto, 90% because MT can launch at much higher RPM. But both taking off from idle at same rpm MT is only .1sec faster.
But once you are FI and become traction limited that launching benefit becomes less and less beneficial unless your on slicks on a prept track. Otherwise you just sit in place spinning.

I do plan on building my trans, valve body, clutch packs, and torque converter, i could then launch at 3k rpm but again traction is already a problem.
