Around here everybody speeds. The actual speed limit is considered to be 5 miles an hour above the posted limit. The posted speed limit on I-95 is 70 MPH. But everyone (including the cops) goes at least 75 MPH. And I noticed the other day that when my speedometer indicates 75 MPH, I'm actually going 77 according to the GPS.
And this doesn't seem to be a local phenomena. It seems like everywhere I go the rule is the same. (Maybe not in Canada, I don't know, never been there.)

Same exact thing around here, going the PSL actually feels dangerous at times. Like you are about to get steam rolled if you aren’t going at least 10 mph over. I do feel like I’ve actually slowed down a little with the FR-S compared to my 2019 Corolla Hatchback. With the FR-S I like to try and keep the RPM around 3,000 - 3,500 on the highway in 6th gear, which equals about 65-70 mph. In the Corolla with a CVT it was much “easier” to go faster on the hwy. It’s not a faster car, just easier to speed on the freeway. [emoji28]
