Here is a thread on idle dips as well FYI. Part of why I say this is normal, unless your car is violently shaking and throwing CEL's.

That's kind of a bummer if the idle vibrations and fluctuations are normal for boxer engines. I thought Subaru always bragged about how smooth and balanced their engines were.
