IF you are talking about a small hiccup that almost feels like a single miss every once in a while at idle, its at least very common on newer ones. My 07 STI had this "hiccup", my friends 10 had one, and coworker with an 04 told me his did as well. Most people, including myself, just chalk it up to the hard motor mounts.

Here is a thread on idle dips as well FYI. Part of why I say this is normal, unless your car is violently shaking and throwing CEL's.

That's kind of a bummer if the idle vibrations and fluctuations are normal for boxer engines. I thought Subaru always bragged about how smooth and balanced their engines were.
