For lower boost applications your fine with oft say up to 10psi or so.
When you go higher boost or want electronic closed loop boost control then ecutek wins out.
Ecutek overboost protection is also better
Ecutek also supports flex fufel on all models oft only supports pre facelift ie pre 2017 for flex.
Ecutek also has full time closed loop fuel control
Ecutek also has intergrated speed density for higher boost applications.
The main difference is that with oft your altering the tune tavles in a standard rom, ie standard ecu programing. Where with ecutek they add a wgole bunch of additional prpgram\software to the ecu to do stuff like boost control, over boost prptection map switching, flex, speed density , closed loop fuel control and more
