I probably wouldn't keep the one I have now.

While there's nothing wrong with it, and it's still quite young at 54k miles, it's been a street-parked DD.
Couple of small dings, paint chips, faded headlights, seats are a bit icky, etc.

I'd probably go out and buy an overpriced brand new one and then have my way with it because I enjoy the mod-ability of the chassis, and it's the newest chassis that's like that.
20 years ago, I might have felt the same way about the 240sx or EG hatch.

I assume what would happen is I buy all the 'fun parts' and get it to where *I think* I want it. Then slowly realize some limitations in the chassis.

Then go buy a new Corvette that's 10x better
