I don't think you'd need a bracket. Should be included in the radio as an "L bracket" which mounts to the side of those holes there.
It's a single din because they removed the room for a CD Slot, which to be honest I've never used in both HU I've had in this car for 7 years. Hell, even the custom PC's I've built for 10 years I don't have a CD tray anymore.

Yoshoobaroo installed an AX5000 so he has more experience and can probably answer your questions or has pictures. He did say the crutchfield harness he bought was truly plug and play.
For my pioneer HU, I had to splice wires with a metra wiring harness, use a different HD radio antenna wire, different USB connector in the little cubby, and brackets on the side of the radio to fill in the extra spacing.
