Creature comforts are way better than the 2013 FR-S. It's the small cabin things that I am loving over the FR-S. Push-button start, keyless entry, the additional acsents in the 2019 TRD... and it isn't badged as a Scion 
Overall I am extremely happy with the 2019 TRD. Before I found this one used with low miles on it I was about to pull the trigger on building out a 2020 86 GY TRD. The price felt right and I couldn't be happier. The dealer I purchased it from was also the original dealer that sold it to the original owner. The story I got was a couple bought it and then 2 months later got pregnant and traded it in for a used Highlander. It was sitting on their lot since July/August so it has been waiting for me |
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the differences! I can imagine going from the RAV4 to a 86 is a big change! I would miss the pure simplicity of the FR-S, and I don’t really like the little digital screen tacked on the gauge cluster. There are so many little upgrades though I could overlook that. And ride quality should be better on a new 86.
I also think it’s very interesting the gear changes feel smoother. That is a really good sign for anyone that wants to go from a FR-S to a new 86. [emoji106]
