What are your impressions of the 2019 TRD compared to your 2013 FR-S?

I will caveat this reply with; I was driving a RAV4 since I gave up the FR-S so my point of reference for what I remember about driving it and comparing it to the 2019 TRD might be a little off.

My initial impression during the test drive, and is holding true over the last 2 days, is that the stability of the car overall feels a lot better. Gear change feels a lot smoother too after I dusted off my manual skills (which have never been great, to begin with) off.

The upgraded brakes and larger tires are pretty amazing - This thing is stopping on a dime and feels very in control of its size/speed. I was also surprised by how much meaner it sounds with the upgraded exhaust as well.

Creature comforts are way better than the 2013 FR-S. It's the small cabin things that I am loving over the FR-S. Push-button start, keyless entry, the additional acsents in the 2019 TRD... and it isn't badged as a Scion

Overall I am extremely happy with the 2019 TRD. Before I found this one used with low miles on it I was about to pull the trigger on building out a 2020 86 GY TRD. The price felt right and I couldn't be happier. The dealer I purchased it from was also the original dealer that sold it to the original owner. The story I got was a couple bought it and then 2 months later got pregnant and traded it in for a used Highlander. It was sitting on their lot since July/August so it has been waiting for me
