What you describe may be a ToB going bad on you;however, nothing is discernible form the clips on my end so no comment there. At 25k miles on a 2017 id have to question your clutch technique on this one, if ToB is indeed case. I had a bad ToB sound on engage/disengage and a metal on metal whine on cold start-- replaced with a new ToB (moneyshift's hydro ToB in this case) and no more sounds and its just great feel to drive, highlights the fun.

But this:

"I have had a few instances where I tried shifting up a gear, but mistakenly went into neutral and hit the throttle as if I went into the next gear which has caused me to redline. Additionally, when this happens the stick vibrates violently and hard to switch gears.

It is also worth noting that it is sometimes very difficult to put the car into first gear and reverse, also occasionally difficult to switch to other gears when upshifting which is what causes me to accidentally go into neutral."

THAT I certainly dont know what it may be or if my suggestion for ToB would even be remotely related.

Truth be told it sounds like "a particular event" did indeed happen.
