A-B isn't even where I normally run. I've done a lot more running in C class with the odd trips into B and A. But yeah, My friends and I are REALLY good. This is because we've pushed each other to the limits of Forza itself really. We're at the point where we can easily find the fastest cars around any given track in any given class in the matter of a few hours.

If you guys want to run a series, I suggest you guys add me on Xbox live and we get into a Party room and talk about it. When designing a series or endurance race, there's really only 2 ways to make it fair for everyone. I'll explain those ways in a second.

First off, let me explain the racing rules we have developed over the years to make compition fair. We typically run with STM and TCS forced off but we can change this if you guys dont like it. You'll be faster with a proper tuned car and these settings off anyway, but we can change if you must have it. We also run with collisions always on and damage set to cosmetic only. This was because too many "racing incidents" have happened in the past on lap 1/2/3 of a 25 lap race and people have felt the Aero damage to overwhelming to compete.

We have "yellow flags" followed by a restart system which works like this. Say you crash into a wall all by yourself with nobody around. Well tough shit... can't do much but suck it up and keep driving. Say 2 cars are entering into a corner, and the following car bumps the lead car clear off the track by accident going into the braking zone. This scenerio would be deemed a "caution" and it would be up to one of the 2 drivers envolved to announce "caution" on the mic. Calling "caution" causes the leader to slow down and allows everyone to catch back up (maintaining their positions). The leader then waits until everyone is in line coming off the final corner. The leader will announce a speed (say 50 mph) which everyone must not exceed until the leader says "GO". Once the leader says "GO", the race is back on. We let the leader say "GO" at his choosing because it gives them a slight advantage and rewards them for being the leader at the time of the caution. After all, its not normally the leaders fault for the yellow flag and why should they be fully penalized.

Typically these rules work fairly well and most times people have no issues with them. I'm always willing to talk about changes if anyone wishes to do so. But they have served us fairly well in the past and really its the only fair thing for everyone.

When it comes to designing a race or series, there's really only 2 ways to do it fairly in Forza. Both ways have their positives and negitives.

The first way is "spec cars". Meaning that someone (normally me) builds a car to a specific class with a specific set of parts. None of these parts are allowed to be removed or changed. However, you can TUNE the car to your hearts content. If you don't know how to tune, I can help you or even give you a basic setup to help improve your times. But the drivers who put effort into running laps and perfecting their times, those are the drivers who do well. Spec car normally come down to tenths if not hundreths of a second difference in laptimes.

The second way is to use the Forza classes themselves. We could pick a class (say C class for example) and track and then simply have at it. However, some cars are a lot faster then others in the same class. To offset this we sometimes have a "time rule" where if you do a lap faster then the agreed time, you must drop to last place before continuing the race. This idea is to get people to avoid "leaderboard cars".

Anyway, I've probably gone into too much detail for you guys. But trust me, our system works and it trys to ensure everyone will have a good time without holding back the people who really want to put the effort in and go fast. If you guys have questions, please feel free to ask or hit me up on xbox live.
