You have to understand where I'm coming from - if you asked me to name a classic sports car the first words out of my mouth would be "Datsun 240Z". This would be immediately followed by things like the MGB, TR6, and Toyota 2000GT. Light, small displacement, great handling cars.

Nissan used to do a bang up job of appealing to this segment, and did so for years. Besides the 240Z and its successors, you also had the excellent Silvia line. Then they watched too much CSPAN while listening to Kenny G and had the fantastic (sarcasm) idea that an Altima Coupe was really what people wanted.

The GT-R and 370Z are a fantastic showing. We'd just like them to take the next logical step and bring back the light, nimble Silvia/Z cars of old.

If they don't, well, I'm happy with my FR-S.
