Realized that I never explained what needed to be trimmed. Here is the section of the shroud that needed trimming to fit behind my 2017 Toyota 86 bumper cover:

And here again the a close-up of that section looking through the front bumper cover, with some foam to seal the bumper cover to the shroud:
