Tbh I don't understand this attitude-- I work hard & support myself but I also only buy authentic parts, and I'm not doing it to impress anyone on the internet.
If I didn't have the money for the real deal I would just stay stock until I did. Obviously to each their own, but to me it's like wearing fake Gucci or Saint Laurent. You're not just paying for a name, you're also paying for craftsmanship and original design instead of a cheap copy. (And nobody is forcing you to wear designer clothes or run expensive wheels, it's a choice)
Personally I don't care if people run reps or not, do whatever makes you happy, but it's way off base to insinuate people aren't working hard for their money because they can afford authentic wheels.
