I expected that when I changed tires as well. But the Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 Plus Tires I'm riding on (second set) are not only all-season, and ride marginally better than the Primacys but my mileage has actually gone up slightly since running on them.

Of course, you wouldn't want to take them to the track (they are touring tires) but they fit my needs.
