This is where I am biased though, but any time I've touched a Ram I've been so off put by the suspension and boat feeling.. you go over any kind of bump and the suspension has to bounce for the next kilometer... And the light steering.. gross.
I've tried to like trucks, believe me, but from a driving experience why would I ever want one.

Truck suspensions are intended to deal with loads for people that actually use them as TRUCKS. People now drive them around like sedans and expect the same ride and handling. If it is any type of decent TRUCK it will not give you that ride and handling because if it did when empty it would be useless when loaded.
