This seems to have been the same idle issue that can be read here:

Scared the crap out of me, with less than 80km on the car lol.
Sitting at the lights and it starts to idle roughly. The only feeling I could compare it too is sitting in a car with bad plugs, or a dying battery.
Revs dip, engine light came on, and the car just shudder and dies.
After restarting the engine, it starts running fine.
My friend suggested I take it to the nearest dealership just to open a file, and at the very least log the issue.
Day 2 of owing it and haven't had any idle issues... but will have to keep an eye on it.
Btw saw a silver FR-S @ the Warden McDonalds during lunch
