Front-mid, rear-drive setup can have a center-of-drivetrain mass that is more mid than mid engine cars; we often look at the engine and transmission only, but there is a driveshaft and differential that make the average weight closer to the center, but the caveat with front-mid is there is less weight over the rear wheels and/or there is more polar weight or the steering is heavier.
