Secondly, Subaru sent specific instructions to be very careful when applying the sealant. Toyota had nothing in the recall instructions given to the dealers that instructed them on using the sealant. The vast majority of engine failure after the recall were the Toyota Scions. So, Toyota did instruct the dealers on how to properly handle these recalls. This engine failure is not only costly to the owner but also very dangerous. My son was driving this car.
