FWD? FWD compact coupes are pretty much dead, and it would most likely fit better as a 2 door Corolla coupe. And I doubt if they did that they would call it a Celica over a 2 door corolla coupe....
4WD? Is there a market for a rally style 4WD coupe?
The entire world wide media assumed the Scion FRS / Toyota GT86 was going to be called a Toyota Celica. Right up until it wasn't. It makes zero sense for Toyota not to. It would have given the car instant cache, credibility, and name recognition.
