2013 Scion FRS engine failure

My 2013 Scion FRS with just 17,000 miles on it, had engine failure after getting the JO2(valve springs) recall. The diagnosis was rod bearing failure due to oil starvation. The cause was a blockage in the oil channels. This car was only ever serviced at a Toyota dealer. This is what caused engine failure in every 2013 Scion FRS that had this recall done. Apparently, the sealant they used for the job, got into the oil and caused the blockage. Toyota is very aware of the issue but has yet to take any responsibility. This does not affect models after 2013. The cost to the owner is between $6,000-7,000. There is a class action lawsuit being put together. It costs the owners nothing. I just want to be reimbursed for the repairs. Below is the lawsuit info.
