Good luck. FWIW I had to get my BRZ done before I could buy it. Just got my first post-recall Blackstone Labs oil analysis back. 102k miles (5.5k miles on the oil) and it looked good.

Only anomalies were : 24ppm Iron (from new parts wearin and a fairly punishing AutoX school), and 94ppm of silicone from the new gasket material wearing in and the assembly lube. Zero water or antifreeze, <0.5% fuel, TBN 3.7, 0.1% insolubles.

It's not a death knell, just a chance of being unlucky. And being unlucky often results in a new shortblock and rebuilt heads on Toyota/Subaru's dime so...
