I measured the vacuum actuator arm motion and set that into the limits of the linear actuator control board. Don't remember exact distance but it is a little over an inch.
I went with a P16-P linear actuator from actuonix. It moves at least as fast as the vacuum actuator since I got the tallest gearing (it takes almost zero force to move the valve itself).
The movement vs pressure was taken from the kit actuator motion when applying vacuum with a handheld vacuum pump. The conversion of that vacuum reading to the voltage output by the MAP sensor is available online for a standard Bosch MAP sensor.
