I've had the Impossible burger and I have to admit its pretty good. I'd eat it again. If you look at the nutritional content and such you might as well be eating beef though. It's still loaded with saturated fat and sodium, and the calories aren't that different.

If it takes off in a big way, it still isn't going to replace non-ground beef products like steak, at least not yet. That probably means it would drive steak prices up (steak prices are dependent on the sale of ground beef to keep the price down) and ground beef prices would fall, or it would get exported.
