Would someone with a 2014 have to go with an updated 2014 harness if they wanted to upgrade to the newer coilpack? Or could they go with, say, a used 2015 engine harness off ebay? I notice the 2014 harness (the updated one, I assume) goes for around $1200 new, whereas a used 2015 can be gotten for around $200 on ebay. Thanks!


This is the 2014 FR-S part number for the engine harness; I'm assuming it incorporates the updates in the equivalent Subaru part:
