The Challenger was/is what my ideal car would be right now, it was more of a cost reason that I went with the BRZ, it's a few thousand cheaper than a Challenger R/T (the Hemi is a must with the Challenger) and the Challenger as expected with a 5.7 Hemi gets way worse fuel economy.
Also for the haters, say what you will about it, but for a large car it handles pretty damn well, not like the BRZ does obviously, but still respectable given it's size. I came from a Dodge Magnum RT and the Challenger is just a shortened wheebase version of the same platform, and once I ditched the stock crappy Continentals on 18's for some nice Kumhos on 20's the way I could take that boat of car around windy roads was pretty impressive, even better when I could do it with 5 adults sitting comfortably in the car with a bunch of stuff in the back.
