I think they have done aright, Toyota's way has not been any better, the dealers have had no clue of when you are getting the car, up until the bulletin that came out they were quoting me 4 - 6 months.. then all of a sudden it was 18 months.
Could you imagine how it would have been with people trying to get to a dealer to get in first, they sold out in 3 hours or something online, it probably gave people a chance who would have normally been stuck at work to order one.

And i kinda like the idea of ordering online, i can order nearly anything else i want, and i am a massive fan of ordering online, i get everything from pizza's to clothes and shoes to computer parts etc all by ordering online, might as well order a car too!

More information for the consumer would be nice though, I think both of them will learn a lot about this, neither of them probably have had such a desired car for a long time, Subi may have had some initial demand for the WRX, Toyota haven't had anything desirable in decades!
