it would be a lot easier if you can find a new clockspring but make sure it comes with the harness (at the very least the connector with cut wires)

if you’re using the old clockspring, you won’t need a new harness. you’ll have to transfer the wires from the steering wheel control harness connector to the old steering wheel harness connector and add wires to the existing clockspring harness connector.
