Also call your insurance agent or whoever did the claim for you. See if they have any advice or know somebody at Geico to talk to.
Your insurance company probably doesn't have a reason to defend you. Your liability limit is so low, their lawyers would cost more. If you had a 1 mil policy, they'd definitely hire lawyers for you. Insurance is not a legal service. |

Don't know if you have debt services there but they may be able to negotiate with the insurance company as well.
