When I rebuilt my engine I really wanted to adjust the lash but didn’t want to spend the money on an assortment and didn’t want to measure order measure order. Another thing that sort of sucks is you have to glue everything together, check the lash and then pull it all apart again and clean all the sealant off just to throw it all back together and measure again. I guess you could dry fit but I feel the seal would change the lash a little so to do it right you really have to seal it. My lash was within spec so I just said to hell with it. I miss my old B18C where I could do an adjustment a few times a year if I really wanted to.
